On Thursday afternoon, the NFL and the Redskins both released statements saying that they were aware of domestic violence allegations made against rookie wide receiver Jamison Crowder and that the league would be looking into them.

Crowder’s agent Tory Dandy says that they aren’t going to find much once they do. The impetus for the statements was a post on Crowder’s Instagram account that featured pictures of a woman with cuts and bruises accompanied by a lengthy caption accusing Crowder of physical abuse on multiple occasions. According to Dandy, none of it is true.

“His account was hacked. Jamison hasn’t hit anybody,” Dandy said, via John Keim of ESPN.com.

Crowder has not been arrested or charged with a crime in Loudoun County, where the Redskins are training right now, and there doesn’t appear to be an accusation more formal than the since-deleted social media posting made against him at this point.
