Four years after entering the NFL via the supplemental draft as a quarterback and consistently refusing to change positions, Terrelle Pryor finally is giving it a try.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus has begun informing teams that Pryor will switch to the receiver position.

Rosenhaus tells PFT there is extensive interest in Pryor as a receiver. Released by the Bengals on Thursday, Pryor is now available via waivers to all teams.

Pryor started nine games at quarterback for the Raiders in 2013. Last year, he explained his reluctance to change positions.

I don’t know how to catch,” Pryor said last June, while with the Seahawks. “I’ve been a quarterback my whole life.”

He’s now going to have to quickly figure out how to catch, which frankly is the easy part. He already has the hard part -- world-class speed and ample size -- well under control.
