Browns cornerback Joe Haden is a good player, very good in fact.

We just had no idea he was so popular.

The veteran cornerback tops the list of jersey sales at Dick’s Sporting Goods, sitting atop their rankings for the last week, month and season.

Again, he’s a worthy player, and has handled himself in a way that makes you feel comfortable about plunking down your money on something with his name on it. But it’s still a bit of a surprise to see him ranked about some of the other names on the list.

For instance, in the store’s 30-day rankings, he’s ahead of Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr., Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Eagles running back DeMarco Murray and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Maybe fans are just drawn to the Browns’ bold new look and tradition of excellence.
