The Giants are a bit thin at safety with training camp approaching and it appears they plan to address the lack of depth by adding a veteran to the mix.

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the team is expected to sign Jeromy Miles. Miles spent the last two seasons with the Ravens, seeing action in 28 games and making one start. He started his career with the Bengals in 2010 as an undrafted free agent and saw action in 39 games with Cincinnati.

Miles had an interception and a forced fumble for the Ravens last season and racked up 28 tackles while also seeing time on special teams.

He would join second-round pick Landon Collins, Cooper Taylor, Nat Berhe and fifth-rounder Mykkele Thompson at safety with Chykie Brown, another former Raven, also a possible addition to the group after getting some work at both safety and cornerback during the offseason.
