  1. Good Lord, this list is insane.

If you’re a UDFA otn there on a prove-it contract, if you wear the wrong color shoes and you’re toast… Might have to declare bankruptcy.

Facemask, late hits, roughing the passer, ow blocks… THIS LEAGUE IS CRAZY!! Pretty soon it will be too expensive for a player to play a game.

How much if someone decides to deflate a ball?

    ————————

Full blown investigation with a side of slander

  3. This is not the Roger Goodell list it is the NFL list; now having said that Roger has so FUBARed the off the field issues (and no matter what side of deflategate you are on he has made a mess of that as well) it is time for new leadership. Has he made the owners a truck load of money; oh yeah. But Roger still needs to go.

  4. I was going to joke about chin straps being out of alignment, and it is actually on there. Amazing how this sport has gone from entertainment to a lawyer’s paradise in no time at all.

  5. * Physical Contact with Official; $28,940; $57,881

Guess this means that if you are going to make contact with a ref, go big or go home.

  6. Good thing Warren Sapp is no longer playing, otherwise he’d go broke with this fine system. I’m sure it’s cheaper beating up prostitutes. Of course someone void of integrity like Sapp pays no emotional price either way.

  7. I have a major issue with this it should be a percentage of earnings

the higher you are paid the more you should pay

  8. “How much if someone decides to deflate a ball?”

    Other Uniform/Equipment Violations; $5,787; $11,576 …

Unless it is simply alleged and completely unproven (and it’s the Patriots) … then the penalty is the largest ever imposed on a player or a team.

  9. Other Uniform/Equipment Violations; $5,787; $11,576!!!!!!!

Why is this deflategate taking so long? Its right there.

  10. Hmmm so a deflated football should only be a 5K fine? And they hit brady with a 4 game suspension?

This is another issue for Brady to bring to court.

Brady’s punishment is for not cooperating. Which the records shows is true. Another delusional pats fan.

Go Blue by Brady is Shady.

So verbal is worse than physical. Wow Ref’s must really get their feelings hurt by the words. This is what a matter with NFL. Nothing makes sense when it comes to fines.

  13. This is just too much. NFL has TOO MUCH POWER. This has to stop. If you touch the ref by accident, you might as well take out your frustration and start punching him cause in the end, it’s all the same fine. Split the NFL , every team for themselves, fire everyone from the league office and start fresh. Teams own this league not the other way around.

  14. “How much if someone decides to deflate a ball?”

The punishment for tampering with footballs is at the discretion of the commissioner.

Apparently, if you’re the Patriots, it’s a four game suspension, a $1 million fine and the loss of a few high draft picks. If you’re the Vikings or Panthers, or any other team not named Patriots, it’s a verbal warning.

  15. At least half of these should be done away with, and restore the game to some of its former glory.

(For what’s it worth, the same could be said of all the laws/fines in this country, as well).

O wait he already went broke hahahaha!!!

  17. The punishment for long hair hanging outside your helmet is that you can be tackled by said hair. I’d say that’s punishment enough.
