While there was some talk that outside linebacker Willie Young might be available, the Bears got down to the 53-man roster limit with him still on board and few surprises.
The Bears cut veteran linebacker Mason Foster and tight ends Dante Rosario and Bear Pascoe as they made their moves.
They waived outside linebacker David Bass, quarterback Zac Dysert, offensive lineman Michael Ola, wide receiver Ify Umodu, defensive tackle Terry Williams, wide receiver AJ Cruz (injured), inside linebacker Matthew Wells, inside linebacker Jonathan Anderson, tight end Gannon Sinclair, cornerback Jacoby Glenn, offensive lineman Tyler Moore, wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, offensive lineman Connor Boffeli, cornerback Qumain Black and outside linebacker Kyle Woestmann.
They also placed safety Anthony Jefferson on injured reserve and defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff on the reserve/suspended list.
