Matt Simms might not have had much of a chance to make the Bills roster, but he had sufficient interest elsewhere.
According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, Simms is signing with the Falcons practice squad.
He reportedly had other offers, including from the Texans, but chose the Falcons instead.
They kept just two quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, Matt Ryan and former Duke seventh-rounder Sean Renfree. So having a third around to practice was a necessity.
