The Bears are heading into Sunday’s game against the Packers with three question marks at wide receiver.
Alshon Jeffery (calf), Eddie Royal (hip) and Marquess Wilson (hamstring) have all been listed as questionable by the team for Week One after dealing with injuries in recent weeks. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that coach John Fox said he’s optimistic that all three will be in the lineup.
All three receivers have been limited participants in practice this week, including Friday, and the team will hold another workout Saturday before making any final determinations on their status. Based on the trajectory they’ve been on this week and Fox’s optimism, it seems likely that they’ll wind up on the right side of the ultimate decision.
Jeffery, Royal and Wilson will be holding down the top slots at receiver as long as Kevin White remains on the PUP list with the shin injury that led him to have surgery this summer.
