Eifert goes crazy as Bengals dominate Raiders

The Raiders look a lot like the Raiders of old.

Tyler Eifert looks a lot like the Tyler Eifert of old.

The Bengals lost Eifert in last year’s opener to an elbow injury, and in losing him they lost a red-zone threat and a middle of the field target who can both move the chains and make defenses pay for devoting extra attention to A.J. Green.

Sunday, Eifert had nine catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the first three quarters of his first game in a year. The Raiders were as helpless to stop him as they were in about every other area of the game.

It seemed like every Bengals player was going crazy, but none were as busy as Eifert. The Bengals hope he’s just getting started.
