Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said Tuesday that quarterback Derek Carr should be “in good shape” to play when the Raiders host the Ravens on Sunday and Wednesday’s practice showed that Carr’s on track to be in the lineup.

Carr practiced without any protective equipment on the right thumb that he injured against the Bengals last weekend. Jimmy Durkin of the Oakland Tribune reports that he was participating in all drills during the portion of practice open to the media.

After practice, Carr said, via Fallon Smith of CSN Bay Area, that his hand doesn’t feel 100 percent yet but that it is getting there. With a few more days to practice and heal before Sunday, there shouldn’t be any need for the Raiders to turn to Matt McGloin as their starter.

Safety Charles Woodson did not practice, but did take part in stretches with the rest of the team. Woodson injured his shoulder in the loss to the Bengals.
