The Ravens once had one of the NFL’s most feared defenses.

The 2015 version just gave up 457 passing yards to Josh McCown.

In one of the wildest games not only of Sunday but of the 2015 season, the Ravens let McCown have the ball last and the Browns won on an overtime field goal by Travis Coons, 33-30.

There were four lead changes in the last 12:23, two via McCown touchdown passes. McCown completed 36-of-51 passes; the leading receiver was Browns tight end Gary Barnidge, who caught 8 passes for 139 yards.

McCown’s 457 passing yards were a Browns single-game record.

The Ravens got the ball first in overtime but went three and out. The Browns then covered 51 yards and 12 plays and won on a 32-yarder by Coons, who hasn’t missed this season. The Browns trailed 21-9 but had touchdown drives covering 75, 79 and 80 yards in the final 16 minutes.

The Browns had 505 total yards; the Ravens had 377.

The Browns hadn’t won in Baltimore since 2007.

The Browns are 2-3 and host Denver next week. The Ravens are 1-4 for the first time in franchise history and are at San Francisco next week.
