Yes, Ben Roethlisberger is doing some things in practice, and wants to play this week.
But no, he’s not ready to get back on a game field.
According to Ed Werder of ESPN, the Steelers are not expecting Roethlisberger to be ready to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
While he is practicing, he’s running the scout team offense only, as he works to build up his mobility after his Week Three knee injury.
Given the Steelers’ short week, it would be a stretch to imagine Roethlisberger coming back so quickly, and that doesn’t appear to be in their thinking either.
