Sen’Derrick Marks expected to make 2015 debut

When the Jaguars elected not to put defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks on the regular season PUP list at the cut to 53 players, the suggestion was that they were confident Marks would be able to play in the first six weeks of the season after returning from last year’s torn ACL.

That assumption looked like a shaky one as Marks spent the first five weeks on the sideline, but it looks like the sixth week’s the charm. Marks, who led the Jags in sacks in 2014, has been listed as probable to play against the Texans on Sunday, although coach Gus Bradley said it won’t be a full workload.

“I would probably not give him a number but we have an idea in our head,” Bradley said, via the Florida Times-Union.

The Jags also listed linebacker Paul Posluszny as probable after he missed last week’s loss to the Buccaneers, so the defense will have more pieces on hand. The offense may not be as lucky with running back T.J. Yeldon questionable to play with a groin injury and Bernard Pierce out with a concussion, although Denard Robinson should return after missing three weeks with a knee injury.
