With running back Juwan Thompson questionable for Sunday’s game at Cleveland with a hamstring injury, the Broncos have added another tailback to the active roster.

Kapri Bibbs has been promoted from the practice squad, and tight end Richard Gordon has gotten the heave-ho.

The Broncos have struggled to develop a running game this year; on Friday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio, cornerback Chris Harris Jr. cited the struggles with running the ball as the team’s primary problem on offense.

And for good reason. The Broncos rank 30th through five weeks, with an average of 71.6 yards per game. Denver also is 31st in the league with 3.3 yards per carry.
