Jeremy Maclin inactive for Chiefs after concussion

Jeremy Maclin must not have “passed everything” after all.

The Chiefs wide receiver is among their inactives for today’s game against the Steelers, after practicing Friday as he progressed through the concussion protocol.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said they just needed to see how he responded Saturday, and he must not have been cleared by the independent neurologist if he’s not going to be on the field today.

The Chiefs offense hasn’t been much to lookout with Maclin this year, and having him out evens things up for the Steelers, who are down to third-string quarterback Landry Jones.
