Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks is gaining more and more of a role in the Vikings defense, and is getting recognized for it.
The second-rounder from UCLA was named NFL defensive rookie of the month, after working his way into more and more playing time.
Kendricks had two sacks last week alone, along with three tackles for loss. For the season, he’s second on the team with four sacks.
The Vikings have eased him into the rotation, as he has just two starts so far. But he’s playing more and more snaps, and proving to be a valuable contributor.
