DeMarcus Ware probable to face Packers

Doug Pensinger

There’s one game pitting two undefeated teams against each other in Week Eight and it looks like Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware will be part of the fun.

Ware missed Denver’s Week Six win because of a back injury, but he’s been listed as probable to face the Packers on Sunday night. Ware was able to practice without any setbacks this week and will be on the field trying to make Aaron Rodgers’s life miserable in the marquee matchup of the weekend.

It doesn’t look like left tackle Ty Sambrailo will be joining him in the lineup, however. Sambrailo has been practicing on a limited basis for the last few weeks, but appears set to miss a fourth straight game because of a shoulder injury suffered in the third week of the season.

“We need to go back as coaches and really evaluate and take a look at the week’s work and see if we think he’s ready to go, or does he need another week,” Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said. “He’s had a good week, but I think we’ve got to be smart in our evaluation, so that’s what we’re going to do.”

Ryan Harris will start again at left tackle with Michael Schofield on the right side when and if the Broncos move Sambrailo from doubtful to out of the lineup.
