As expected, the Panthers will be without starting center Ryan Kalil and starting linebacker Shaq Thompson for Monday night’s game vs. the Colts. Both had been listed as doubtful.
Kalil suffered an ankle injury last week and did not practice all week. Fernando Velasco starts in his place. A.J. Klein likely steps in at linebacker for Thompson, who also missed last week’s game.
The Colts listed no one as questionable, so there are no surprises among the inactives submitted 90 minutes before kickoff. Phillip Dorsett, Winston Guy, Khaled Holmes and Nate Irving were among the Colts listed as either out or doubtful. Josh Robinson, Zach Kerr and Denzelle Good are the other Colts’ inactives.
With Dorsett down for 4-6 weeks, newly signed wide receiver Quan Bray is active for the Colts.
Also inactive for the Panthers are Kevin Norwood, Brandon Wegher, Mario Addison, Dwan Edwards and Dean Marlowe.
