The Saints are adding veteran quarterback Matt Flynn to their roster, per multiple reports Monday night.
Flynn spent time in training camp with the Patriots and Jets. He started four games for the Packers in 2013 and played in seven games last season. He’s also spent time with the Raiders and Seahawks.
Flynn, 30, was a seventh-round pick of the Packers in 2008.
Veteran backup Luke McCown has a season-ending back injury, which forced the Saints to add a quarterback. McCown will require surgery.
