Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins was admitted to a Pittsburgh hospital Sunday after suffering his second concussion in a month. A team statement said he would undergo “overnight observation.”
Hawkins had missed the previous two games due to a concussion.
Hawkins’ brother, former NFL player Artrell Hawkins, wrote on Facebook that Andrew “has no memory of what happened and is very confused.”
Andrew Hawkins, 29, got his first real NFL shot with the Bengals before signing with the Browns prior to 2014. He caught a career-high 63 passes last season.
