Pacman on Texans: “They act like they won the Super Bowl”

While the postgame back-and-forth starting between the Texans and the Bengals began with some elementary school playground-level taunting of the red-headed kid, it didn’t take long for the talk to go blue.

Via Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was quick to accept the blame for giving up the Texans’ only touchdown, but then took offense to the way they celebrated.

They f------ won a game,” Jones said. “We’re 8-1. How many games have they won? Thank God for them.

“They’ve won four f------ games. They act like they won the Super Bowl. Kudos to them.”

Houston’s response to knocking the Bengals from the ranks of the unbeatens might have been over the top. And so might have been Andy Dalton’s pearl-clutching “won’t someone think of the children” response to the response.

And to be honest, Jones’ reaction is not any more or less mature than Watt’s making fun of Dalton’s hair color, but at least he’s making a point about the realities of their respective level of accomplishments on the field.
