The Cowboys are expected to have quarterback Tony Romo under center against the Dolphins in Week 11, but the team knows that all of the ills that took them to 2-7 won’t be erased with Romo back in action.

Defensive end Jeremy Mincey let us know that last week when he pointed out that, for all his charms, Romo isn’t Jesus and other Cowboys spent Monday delivering the same message about the need to be better across the board. Having a full complement of talent on hand should help on that front and it looks like linebacker Sean lee will make it back from a concussion to face the Dolphins.

Coach Jason Garrett said Lee has passed through the concussion protocol after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers.

“We are optimistic,” Garrett said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “We will take the situation day by day. We anticipate him practicing on Wednesday.”

Lee has 66 tackles, a sack and and an interception for the Cowboys in eight appearances this season.
