A big reason why the Bills beat the Jets last Thursday was because they forced four turnovers in Rex Ryan’s return to MetLife Stadium.

A big reason why they were able to take the ball away that many times was the play of safety Bacarri Rambo. Rambo didn’t start the game, but his contributions off the bench proved to be invaluable.

Rambo forced two fumbles, recovered one and intercepted a Ryan Fitzpatrick pass in a performance that helped propel the Bills to a 22-17 victory. It also helped make Rambo the AFC’s defensive player of the week.

Rambo was a sixth-round pick of the Redskins in 2013, but was dropped two games into the 2014 season. He played four games with Buffalo last season and has seen more playing time on defense this season. His play against the Jets could lead to more action in the coming weeks.
