Pacman Jones, Michael Johnson likely to miss Sunday night’s game

The Bengals have been without two starters only once in nine games this season. The next game with two absent starters likely is coming in Arizona on Sunday night.

Cornerback Pacman Jones and defensive end Michael Johnson are officially listed as doubtful. It means there’s only a 25-percent chance either guy will play.

As noted by Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Johnson showed up on the injury report this week, after suffering a back injury in practice. Jones injured his foot during Monday night’s loss to the Texans.

The good news for the Bengals is that veteran right tackle Andre Smith is probable to play, after missing a pair of games with a concussion.

The best news for all of us is that the 8-1 Bengals visit the 7-2 Cardinals on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
