The Buccaneers have claimed linebacker Kourtnei Brown via waivers from the Texans, ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported.
If that sounds familiar, the same thing happened in September. Brown was with the Bucs for three weeks before getting cut and added to the practice squad, then signed from the practice squad to the Texans active roster.
Brown, 27, played in one game for the Buccaneers earlier this season, and that was his first NFL game. Brown has been cut 10 times by seven teams.
The Texans waived Brown last weekend when they promoted running back Akeem Hunt to the active roster.
