According to Lindsay Jones of USA Today, the injured Broncos quarterback is in Charlotte, getting a second opinion on his injured foot.
That’s where foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson’s based, and that’s the guy he needs to see about the plantar fascia injury that kept him off the field last week.
The Broncos have already said that Brock Osweiler will start this week against the Patriots, and Manning has effectively been apart from the team trying to get himself well. He didn’t travel to Chicago for yesterday’s game against the Bears.
