Palmer, Brown strike quickly to take lead back

John Brown

AP

Thursday Night Football is apparently going to be fun.

After Adrian Peterson and the Vikings drove 80 yards in seven plays to go up 7-3, the Cardinals came right back. John Brown turned a 15-yard pass into a 65-yard touchdown, using his speed to find daylight and then the sideline to give the Cardinals a 10-7 lead.

The game is still in the first quarter.

Brown missed some time due to a hamstring injury last month, but his speed gives the Cardinals offense a different dimension.

Carson Palmer is 10-of-12 for 127 yards. The Cardinals followed the Brown touchdown with a quick stop and got the ball back before the end of the first quarter.
