Packers running back Eddie Lacy has had a rough season in 2015 as injuries, lack of productivity and a curfew violation have all led to cuts in playing time at various points during the season.

That curfew violation came before the team’s Week 13 game against the Lions and led to Lacy watching most of the game from the bench, but it seems he’s been able to work his way back into the team’s good graces this week. Coach Mike McCarthy said during the week that he thinks Lacy has been “rejuvenated” and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that rejuvenation will return him to the starting lineup.

Per Rapoport, Lacy will be the No. 1 back ahead of James Starks and John Crockett against the Cowboys on Sunday after “an impressive week of practice.”

Lacy had his two best weeks of the season in the two games preceding the matchup with the Lions. If he can provide the same kind of production on Sunday, the Packers should be in good position to extend their lead in the NFC North.
