Kellen Moore enters game, throws pick

The Cowboys were planning to bench quarterback Matt Cassel if he struggled during Saturday night’s game against the Jets. Cassel struggled, and so he was benched.

Kellen Moore entered the game in place of Cassel. Moore, who had never before thrown a regular-season NFL pass, threw two on his first drive. The second was intercepted.

Moore ducked under pressure, popped up, and threw the ball deep. Jets defensive back Marcus Gilchrist made the easy interception.

The Jets lead, 9-3.
