Corey Graham has a message for Mario Williams

Bills linebacker Mario Williams has complained on multiple occasions this year regarding the team’s defense under first-year coach Rex Ryan. Bills defensive back Corey Graham is now complaining about Williams’ complaining.

“Obviously he’s got his opinion and everything,” Graham said, via Matthew Fairburn, via Syracuse.com. “In this league, when things aren’t going your way, everybody’s negative. That’s how it is. I’m used to it. I’m not going to sit here and say one person’s right and one person’s wrong. Rex is proven in this league. He’s been doing this a long time. One thing I can say about Rex, he’s a smart guy. Very, very bright guy. He knows defense. He know what to do, what not to do. You just have to find your place, find your place in this scheme and find out what you need to do. When these guys are defensive linemen, they want to rush. We’re not going to sugarcoat it, he wants to rush the quarterback. When you ask him to do something he’s not comfortable doing, it’s tough for him. But as a professional as a defensive guy, you just have to go out there, do your job, do what they ask you to do and do it to the best of your ability. Don’t worry about things like that. We have to win as a defense and as a team. We have to do whatever it takes to win. If it means dropping back in coverage, you have to do it sometimes.”

That doesn’t mean Graham is fine with the defense.

We’re all over the place,” Graham said, via Fairburn. “We’re all over the place, we don’t know what’s going on half the time.”

So will they win either of their final two games, home contests against the Cowboys and Jets?

“We’re not going to win because we’re not good right now,” Graham said.

They’re definitely not good. The question is whether they’ll get better in 2016.
