The Bengals promoted cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris from the practice squad to the active roster Thursday and waived rookie cornerback Troy Hill.
The Bengals made a similar roster swap earlier this month when Hill was promoted and Lewis-Harris was cut before their Dec. 6 game vs. the Browns. Hill played in the last three games, recording three tackles and three more on special teams.
Hill is an undrafted free agent from Oregon who signed with the Bengals after the draft. Lewis-Harris is a third-year player who’s played in five games this season and been on and off the roster over the last two seasons.
The Bengals play in Denver Monday night. The winner likely gets a first-round playoff bye.
