The Giants interviewed offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo for their head coaching vacancy on Tuesday and they won’t be the only team McAdoo talks to about a promotion this week.

They won’t even be the only NFC East team to have that conversation. According to multiple reports, McAdoo will interview with the Eagles on Thursday.

McAdoo spent two years with the Giants, so the Eagles have seen him four times in the last two years and they are also familiar with the work he did in Green Bay before heading to New Jersey. While the team went 12-20 with McAdoo running the offense, quarterback Eli Manning and wide receiver Odell Beckham thrived in McAdoo’s system.

McAdoo joins Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Jaguars assistant head coach Doug Marrone and Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin as outside candidates identified thus far. Gase will be getting a second interview and the team has also spoken to Pat Shurmur, who was the Eagles’ offensive coordinator and interim coach following Chip Kelly’s firing, and running backs coach Duce Staley.
