The Vikings went into Lambeau Field last Sunday night with designs on winning the NFC North.

They realized those hopes with the help of defensive end Everson Griffen. Griffen had two sacks against the Packers in a 20-13 Vikings victory, including one that turned into one of the biggest plays of the game.

With the Vikings up 13-3 in the third quarter, Griffen stripped Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the ball on a sack and cornerback Captain Munnerlyn scooped it up for a 55-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Those points gave the Vikings a cushion they used to survive 10 Packers points in the fourth quarter and win their first division title since 2009.

Griffen ended the regular season with 10.5 sacks in 15 games for the Vikings, who will be looking for him to provide pressure on Russell Wilson this weekend as the Vikings try to knock off the defending NFC champions on what’s expected to be a frigid day in Minneapolis.
