The Dolphins continued their coaching search on Thursday by interviewing Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase.

Gase has been a popular target this week and has either interviewed with or been linked with the Dolphins, Eagles, Giants and Browns. With that many lines in the water and a record of success in both Denver and Chicago, Gase is seen as a likely candidate to wind up with a head coaching job in the near future.

There was a report that Gase had lined up a second interview with the Eagles, although that’s been followed by another saying that nothing’s been scheduled at this point.

The Dolphins have been as busy as Gase. His interview is the fifth they’ve done this week with Mike Shanahan, Mike Smith, Teryl Austin and Anthony Lynn also getting their chance to make a case to be the next man to lead the team. Doug Marrone, Hue Jackson and interim coach Dan Campbell are also slated to interview.
