Luke Willson out, Marshawn Lynch questionable for Sunday

Marshawn

The bad news is that the Seahawks won’t have tight end Luke Willson on Sunday. The good news is that the Seahawks will have running back Marshawn Lynch. Unless they don’t.

Willson has been ruled out of Sunday’s game at Minnesota with a concussion. It will be the second straight game he misses, opening the door for Cooper Helfet and Chase Coffman to contribute from a depth chart that lost Jimmy Graham weeks ago.

Lynch, who has missed seven games after sports hernia surgery, officially is questionable for the game. That conflicts with the vibe created all week by the team regarding Lynch being both available to play, and to play at his normal capacity.

Seven Seahawks are probable, a designation which technically means there’s a virtual certainty that they will be able to play. Some would say there’s also a virtual certainty the Seahawks will win after a 38-7 blowout of the Vikings during the regular season. But the game will start 0-0. Where it goes from there depends on plenty of factors.
