The playoffs couldn’t have started any better for the Chiefs.
Knile Davis took the opening kickoff of the first playoff game 106 yards for a touchdown, giving the Chiefs an early 7-0 lead.
It was the second-longest kickoff return in NFL playoff history. Only Jacoby Jones, who returned a kickoff 108 yards in the Super Bowl four years ago, has had a longer kickoff return in a postseason game.
The Texans went three-and-out on their subsequent possession, and the Chiefs have to love the way this game has started.
