Good news, Peyton Manning. You can still sue Al Jazeera.

As explained by Erik Wemple of the Washington Post, the Al Jazeera unit that produced the documentary linking Manning to HGH will continue to operate following the April shuttering of Al Jazeera America.

The documentary regarding the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sport was produced by Al Jazeera Media Network, which has a corporate structure separate from Al Jazeera America and an office in Washington.

So if Peyton Manning chooses to sue Al Jazeera over the situation, he won’t have to be concerned about the impact of the discontinuation of Al Jazeera America. However, Manning will still have to worry about the impact of the litigation, including the license provided by the lawsuit for Al Jazeera to issue subpoenas aimed at finding the silver bullet for its defense: Evidence that the allegations are true.
