As he promised he would, Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones apologized to Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown on Friday.

Jones had accused Brown of faking an injury after the Vontaze Burfict hit that was part of the wild final sequence of last weekend’s game in Cincinnati. Jones had said Brown would be cleared by the end of this week, “I promise.”

He wasn’t. The Steelers on Friday ruled Brown out of Sunday’s game in Denver.

The apology came via a video posted on Jones’ Instagram account.

“AB - My apology, my brother,” Jones said. “I’m a man of my word. I’ve been doing a little traveling so that’s why it took so long. But I apologize, sincerely. Get well.”

Jones was fined $28,940 for contacting an official after the play.
