Gronk, Edelman active for Patriots

Rob Gronkowski, Sylvester Williams AP

The Patriots are the healthiest they’ve been in weeks, and that includes wide receiver Julian Edelman and tight end Rob Gronkowski being active.

Both teams turned in their active rosters 90 minutes prior to Saturday’s game. Edelman and Gronkowski are among 12 players the Patriots had listed as questionable.

Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is active, meaning both teams have their top pass catchers at least in uniform.

Inactive for the Patriots are tackle LaAdrian Waddle, linebacker Jon Bostic, wide receiver Chris Harper, safety Tavon Wilson, defensive end Geneo Grissom, defensive tackle Ishmaa’ily Kitchen and starting guard Tre’ Jackson, the only player the Patriots had listed as out.

Waddle is the only player listed as questionable who was made inactive.

God, what a shock! A major tragedy has been avoided.

Tell me, is Brady too cool to pray?

Patriots haven’t filed an honest injury report since 2000.

So they are playing the Pot Head. Such much for taking the high road ? Do as I say not as I do. Pathetic

Waddle being inactive suggests confidence in Vollmer’s status.

Patriots get critizied for putting out an accurate injury report. Meanwhile the Colts fail to put Lucks broken ribs on the injury report without any repercussions from the NFL. So much for integrity, right Roger! What a joke.

Gronk IS active, doesn’t mean he’ll play much, or be effective. We’ll see

NE gets away with everything, even when caught, it’s overlooked. Good to be Kraft. #alwayscheaters

Good news. Wouldn’t want Gronk and Edelman to feel they didn’t contribute when the Patriots win SB50.

Yes how awful a guy smoked a little too much fake( but legal) weed, and didnt do anything else but seek help. He wasn’t out driving around or causing trouble. Much worse guys play every week. Heck your team should be short a couple of coaches this week but only got small slaps on the wrist…Penalties should have been stiffer seeing as coach shenanigans are nothing new for the Steelers. Repeat offenders!

That said I wouldnt doubt if Jones doesn’t actually start the first series or 2.
