Eagles make coordinators official, announce 15 total hires

The Eagles made official the hirings of defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and offensive coordinator Frank Reich Wednesday.

Thirteen other additions to new coach Doug Pederson’s staff were also announced. Duce Staley, who interviewed for the head coaching job after Chip Kelly was fired, was retained as running backs coach.

Also retained were special teams coach Dave Fipp, tight ends coach Justin Peelle, offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, offensive quality coach Press Taylor and defensive backs coach Cory Undlin.

The rest of the hires announced Wednesday include Tim Hauck, defensive backs/safeties; Eugene Chung, assistant offensive line/tight ends/run game; Phillip Daniels, defensive quality control/assistant defensive line; Ken Flajole, linebackers; Matthew Harper, assistant special teams; Greg Lewis, wide receivers; and Dino Vasso, defensive quality control/assistant secondary.
