Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson played well at times this season, for a guy who was playing through a painful foot injury.
But he’s getting that taken care of now.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans first-rounder is having foot surgery today in Charlotte. Johnson played with a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal for the last month of the season. He’s also going to have surgery to repair a broken left wrist next month.
Johnson started 10 games for the Texans this year, helping a team that lacked a regular quarterback to a division title.
