Broncos enter AFC Championship Game healthy, all probable

AP

The Broncos have a more optimistic injury report than the Patriots heading into the AFC Championship Game.

While the Patriots listed 16 players as questionable, the Broncos have few doubts, as every player listed on their report is probable.

That includes cornerback Chris Harris (shoulder) who practiced today, despite John Elway saying earlier this week he’d be a game-time decision.

He’s had a good week,” coach Gary Kubiak said, via Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post. “Everything I’ve seen this week in practice tells me Chris is fine to go, . . . He’s been a lot better than he did going into last week’s game.”

The only player who was even limited was cornerback Bradley Roby, who developed a hip injury in practice today. But Kubiak said he didn’t think it was serious.

The way the pats use their injury report is unsportsmanlike. Is it a huge deal? No. But come on. No semblance of accuracy or honestly there.

    Based on what?

    “I think…..”
    “I just know….”
    “Everbody knows….”

Yada yada yada. You want dishonesty? Look at the lack of injury reporting on Manning the last two seasons, as the Broncos did not want anyone to know where he was injured, fearing it would provide…wait for it….”a competitive advantage” for the opposing team. Open your eyes. The Patriots were investigated for this based on bogus claims by knuckleheads like Aquib Talib and Brandon Spikes, and were CLEARED of all wrong doing by the NFL, of all people.

People like you make us all look bad….

The Pats issue the injury report to the letter of the rule, if a player has an injury, or is limited in anyway from practice they must be listed on the report. The Pats do that, even if the injury is minor and they know that player will play. The rule still says they belong on the report.

It’s other teams that are unsportsmanlike and don’t list everyone that should be on it. Like Luck’s broken ribs.

It also states only a general area be listed, for example, knee or arm, does not have to list specific injury.

People just like to whine and complain about the Pats.

There’s a legit report. All hands on deck.
    ———————-

How is it any more legit that the Patriots injury report?? Probable is just as ambiguous as questionable.

They should have to list players as either out or in, or better yet, just do away with the injury report altogether.

  4. Looking forward to watching the HGH-Bomb throw several picks against the Pats broken down, second rate D. Brady will be fine against that elite, healthy Denver D. These two QBs are no longer anywhere near comparable in their on-field abilities.

  5. The Pats are notorious for this kind of trickery on their injury report, granted, but what about Manning?

Pipe down DEN fan, I think I hear the stadium alarm alerting you sheeple to get back to your seats and stomp around like fools so Papa Manning doesn’t have to pump in fake noise.

  6. no excuses, Donkeys

Except Manning’s delivery of HGH got caught up in the blizzard this week so Brockenheimer will be in halfway through the 3rd Qtr, after FrankenManning has thrown 3 picks and a mystery injury appears

  7. To every N.E. fan moaning about how fair they are you are the laughing stock throughout American sports.
The Patriots are great and with a great hc no doubt, but he cheats!
The Pats lose a first round pick because they cheat.
Brady should have been suspended to star this season because they cheat.
    On and on it goes.
They look for ever edge including skirting the rules.
    Quit denying it.

The Denver D is at full strength at home?
Tom Brady is going to get smoked.

    ————————————–

After about 5 minutes of laughter, I now type.

Not saying that the Denver D isn’t raw … or that the Broncos have no chance …

But Brady going to get smoked? Sounds like somebody has been “smoking” that Denver kush.

  9. Chris Harris goes from “playing with one arm” to “probable” in the space of 5 days, and Donk fan accuses Belichick of cheating on the injury report?????

  10. We “Donk Fans” do not limit what is said/known about Belicheat to the injury report…..
He has cheated and has gotten caught too many times in too many ways….How about that!
    The Patriots are cheaters!!
You know it but won’t own it.
Maybe you posses the same integrity issues as your team.
    Consistent anyway.

  11. Well, the arrogant and belligerent Seahawk fans got bumped last week. This week it’s the even more (if that’s possible) arrogant and belligerent Patriot fans who get the bump. Thank God, save the Super Bowl week for the adults.
