The Patriots turned a Broncos turnover into a touchdown and now the Broncos have done the same to the Patriots.

Von Miller made the second interception of his career after dropping into coverage and stepping in front of a Tom Brady pass to Rob Gronkowski deep in Patriots territory. Peyton Manning overthrew an open Emmanuel Sanders in the end zone on first down, but had the right touch on a third down throw to tight end Owen Daniels and Daniels scored for the second time on the day to extend the Broncos lead to 14-6.

The interception continued a frustrating first half for Brady, who has felt pressure up the middle from Derek Wolfe several times already. Brady is 5-of-11 for 46 yards and the Patriots’ touchdown came on a short field.

Manning has continued to have success, although a 34-yard completion to Sanders on a previous drive had as more to do with the receiver’s talents than the quality of a throw that Malcolm Butler almost picked off.
