Chiefs coach Andy Reid will be in charge of one of the teams when he gets to Hawaii, and now another of his players is joining him.
Via the Kansas City Star, Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson is now going to the Pro Bowl as a replacement for Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly.
It’s the fourth trip to the all-star game for Johnson, and he’ll have plenty of familiar faces there.
Johnson will be the sixth Chiefs player in the game, alongside safety Eric Berry, outside linebackers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali, cornerback Marcus Peters and tight end Travis Kelce.
Reid and his staff will coach one of the teams, his fifth time he’s done so.
