The list of replacement players at this year’s Pro Bowl now includes all three free safeties.

Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins has been named to the roster and will take the place of Tyrann Mathieu, who missed the final weeks of the Cardinals season after tearing his ACL in late December. Jenkins joins Reshad Jones and Harrison Smith as fill-ins for the originally selected Mathieu, Reggie Nelson and Earl Thomas.

Jenkins played all but two snaps on defense for the Eagles during the regular season. He led the team with 120 tackles and tied for the team lead with 15 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. He also had two interceptions, one of which he returned 99 yards for a touchdown in a victory over the Patriots, and a fumble recovery.

It’s the first time that Jenkins has been on the Pro Bowl roster and he’s the first Eagles safety to go to the game since Quintin Mikell in 2010. Defensive end Fletcher Cox, left tackle Jason Peters and kick returner Darren Sproles will also represent the Eagles in the game.
