Broncos safety Shiloh Keo was arrested on a DUI charge early Saturday in his native Idaho.

KBOI TV in Boise reported that Keo was booked into the Ada County Jail at 2:19 a.m. Saturday by the Idaho State Police.

Keo, 28, signed with the Broncos in December and saw significant action through the end of the regular season and playoffs for a banged-up Broncos secondary. He had three postseason tackles.

A fifth-round pick of the Texans in 2011, Keo played in 42 games in Houston from 2011-13.

  1. I’m setting the over/under on the highest number of days without an arrest at 7! This will be another entertaining off-season. League office will have to add staff to keep up with all the trouble makers…job creation in America!

  2. Wonder, now it is the off season, if the arrest counter will ever get to ten?
Que the Pats fans in 3..2…1

  3. Just a trashy organization through and through. Name one player with a redeeming quality. I’ll wait…

  4. I’ll never understand why these guys don’t adjust their driving habits when they are over the limit. The trick is not to draw attention to yourself, i.e., be Joe traffic laws.

Driving is easier than walking. Even if you’re a little unsure of your footing there is no reason you can’t be a good driver.

For every MADD mom creaming some poor drunk while she’s doing her lipstick as she operates a minivan, there’s a drunk obeying the rules of the road. Why NFL players don’t catch on is a mystery to me.

Ronnie Hillman. Brandon Marshall. Derek Wolfe. C.J. Anderson. Darien Stewart. Owen Daniels.

Nothing wrong with any of those guys there.

Um ok. DeMarcus Ware, Malik Jackson, CJ Anderson, Ronnie Hillman, the entire Offensive Line, Danny Trevathan, Brandon Marshall, Chris Harris, Darian Stewart, DeMaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders…I could go on. Those are just starters. I assume you’re baiting for Talib, TJ Ward, Wolfe, and even Manning stuff. Blanket statements make you look ridiculous. Hope you waited.

  7. I thought the NFL and/or the NFLPA provided players with a card and an “800” number for FREE car service to prevent this type of thing.

I guess you have never heard of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

  9. The Broncos safeties delivered some vicious blows in the AFCC game. It was no surprise nobody wanted to get open and catch the ball except Gronk. Those hits added up. It reminded me how those Ravens teams with Pollard used to play us.

  10. Would I have liked the panthers to win the super bowl? Of course. But did they deserve it? Of course not. Denver clearly won that game fair and square. But crueman09, if you wanna talk about sore losers we can watch Peyton’s reaction after losing to the saints in the SB.

Another drunk driving apologist. You sound like an ex-roommate of mine. He used to say he was a better driver drunk than sober because he was more careful and focused, whereas he was more easily distracted and careless when sober. He had lots of friends who did it right slong with him and a few who ovjected. He only had one accident after successfully driving drunk hundreds of times over the course of years. Depending on your perspective, he was 99.5% succesful as a drunk driver or you could say he only killed one person in his whole life. And those friends like you who defended him were nowhere to be found afterward.

I’m a hardcore Broncos fan since 1977, but there’s no excuse for this.

I’ve never heard of someone else defending another person’s driving. You might want to modify that fable.

I’m not apologizing for anyone who is over the BAC limit and ignoring traffic laws. Those are the ones who are giving the rest of us – all of us – a bad name.

They’re the reason you are going to get DUIed for having two glasses of wine at a restaurant while I get home safely after 8 beers watching MNF at the club.

  13. Everyone knows the patriots were cheated out of a well deserved fifth title by Roger and john elway.

Had the refs called that pass interference on big gronk in the end zone, tb12 would have gotten his revenge on the deflate gate mirage.

You have all the answers don’t you? Again just like my roommate. My story is a fable because you never heard someone defend anothers driving and then you do the same defending what he did for “all of us”.

Then you want to distinguish yourself from others by lumping them all together in some 2 wine glass drinking, law ignoring group. Not like you and the other responsible 8 beer drinking (usually underreporting), MNF watchers (usually not just Mondays during football season, but likely any other reason and night).

Then you confuse apologist for apologizing (They’re different. Look it up) but assuming you know the details of Keo’s arrest and BAC. Doubt he had just wine, if I were to guess. But regardless of what or how much, getting behind the wheel is another story. We don’t all do it. While you are not unusual in thinking driving drunk is a skill you have that others simply need to learn, your also no different than the one’s who get arrested or in accidents. You just haven’t yet.

Interesting side note to my fable. The accident he had may have happened even if he was sober, but because he was drunk, it was vehicular manslaughter. I hope you never learn the hard way, brother.

  15. Another stupid player, who can’t take success. Get a driver “idiot” if you are going to drink and drive. It’s not like you can’t afford it.
What happens if you kill someone?????

How long did that woman beater Greg Hardy play for the Panthers? When it comes to players with character issues every NFL team lives in glass houses so it is best to not throw stones!

  19. With the Broncos it starts at the top. How many front office types were arrested for Sui. How many ped violators have the had. How many dirty hits have they had. A qb with a covered up sexual assault and hgh use, repeated salary cap violations, shanahan stealing signals, the list goes on and on. What a classless operation they run, it’s sickening. They shoul be disbanded now.

  20. So the Panthers employed a woman beater and the Pats employed a multiple murderer! Fans from these two organizations want to talk about the Broncos being classless!

  21. Two beers. Yes, that is all it takes to get a dui. Just two. Any professional athlete or celebrity who gets behind the wheel is not only stupid, but thinks they are immune to punishment. Not in today’s world. Think before you drink. Have a DD, call a cab or set up a uber.

signed a beer lover and a lifelong Broncos fan!
