Allen Robinson talks epic tattoo, possible jump in pool, more

Friday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio and NBCSN included a look at the Jaguars’ offseason, along with a visit from Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson.

Robinson, a 2014 second-rounder who had 1,400 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in his second season, has a great new tattoo showcasing his signature moment at Penn State. He talked about that and plenty more, with topics including how close the Jaguars are to breaking out, who he models his game after, and how he and the other receivers on the team can help quarterback Blake Bortles cut down on a league-high 18 interceptions.

Perhaps most importantly, Robinson came the closest of any Jaguars player to date to commit to jumping in one of the Everbank Stadium pools in full pads. The real question is whether that moment would be immortalized in ink, somewhere on the canvas that is Robinson’s body.

For the full interview, you know what to do.

TT is usually a goldmine with WRs. But he sure whiffed taking Adams instead of Robinson….😦

Tattoos are, generally, for attention seeking losers and degenerates

A tattoo about a “signature moment”? Tats were cool before they became mainstream. Now if you want to different, don’t get one.

Tats only look good on athletes, everyone else specially women — not so much.

Normally, I only pwn Vikings trolls, but this comment is so inane I have to say something:

Nelson, Cobb, Jennings, and Driver have ALL been top 10 WRs for more than 1 season each in the past 10 years. ARod is good, but the WR has to do some of the work. Think about Favre – what “great” WR did he have? Sterling Sharpe for 2 years, Robert Brooks and Antonio Freeman. And Donald Driver at the end of his career.

All 4 of the guys mentioned above with ARod has been VERY good for ARod – far more prolific than any Favre WR ever was.

He has a tattoo of his catch vs. Michigan that didn’t even result in a touchdown, he was tackled at the 1 yard line . In addition , he has the guy’s name on the back of his jersey wearing a Michigan uniform. Who wants another guys named tattooed for life on his body?…..not that there’s anything wrong with that….#facepalm
