Second knee replacement will keep Andy Reid from attending the Scouting Combine

Chiefs coach Andy Reid will miss the 2016 Scouting Combine after undergoing surgery to replace a knee. The team announced the development on Saturday.

It’s the second straight offseason including a new knee for Reid. Last year, he underwent the procedure on his other knee. He was able to attend the Combine in Indianapolis. In 2015, Reid missed the Senior Bowl due to the surgery.

Reid has coached the Chiefs for three seasons, which immediately followed 14 years as coach of the Eagles.

We wish Coach Reid a quick and complete recovery.

He should have the Doctors replace his thinking on clock management.

Maybe he should get liposuction before he needs a 3rd knee replacement.

He hurt his knees 1 of 2 ways. Either it was 40 years ago when he participated in the “pass, punt, and kick” competition, or his knees finally gave out from the pressure of all that weight…

I’ll bet Mike McCarthy will be next. His knees must be really worn out with all his weight and the servicing of Aaron. I’d help, but I don’t replace them. Remove only.

You know it’s killing Coach Reid not to be there.

One of the good guys in this biz. I hope he’s going to be as whole as he can after this one.

No offense to Andy, but dropping about 75 pounds might help out with his joint issues.

Hope it doesn’t affect his 40 time.

So he could have done this a month ago and not missed the combine, once again poor clock management

Speedy recovery Coach. And continue to shed pounds as you have done recently good for overall health. Go Chiefs

While I wish he best for Andy Reid, one has to take control of one’s destiny. I’m sure Andy would be much healthier if he would drop some weight.

Those criticizing his weight obviously don’t realize he’s prb 75 pounds lighter than he was 5 years ago. Look at him prior to 2011. He was massive.

He may miss the Combine, but he’ll never miss the Early Bird Special at Barnhill’s…..
