The Cardinals took care of some special teams business before heading out for the combine.

Per Darren Urban of the team’s official website, the Cardinals re-signed punter Drew Butler, before he’d have become a restricted free agent.

Butler has punted for the Cards since 2014, when he replaced an injured Dave Zastudil. He’s had up-and-down performances, but the team has remained behind him.

Of course, they might also bring in another punter at some point, as he hasn’t been so steady as to have earned a job without competition.
