Jon Gruden’s QB Camp series will be back on ESPN for a seventh pre-draft go-round this spring, and seven quarterbacks will get camera and classroom time with the former NFL coach.

This year, Gruden will go one-on-one with Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Connor Cook, Cardale Jones, Paxton Lynch, Dak Prescott and Christian Hackenberg.

The shows will be taped over the next five weeks in Orlando and begin airing April 12 across multiple platforms.

The popular series features Gruden talking and offering instruction individually to the quarterbacks, and past Gruden QB Camp shows have been revealing, informative and funny.

  1. This is the best QB class to ever come out. I just have a feeling the best one is not the one being most talked about right now. Should be interesting to see them with Gruden. There are also 3-4 more good QBs in this draft that aren’t appearing with Gruden.

  2. Gruden is awesome. He’s perfect for TV. Coaching is too stressful. Look at John Madden. He got in and out of coaching very quickly, but worked another 40 years or so on TV. I’ll bet he aged more in the 10 years he coached, than the 40 on TV.

  3. Gruden was a solid head coach and was a decent offensive coordinator but he was not very good at working with and developing young QBs… And his expert talent evaluation helped the Bucs have some of the worst drafts in NFL history…

  4. Yea right, this QB class rivals that of 2011 minus Cam Newton: Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, and Christian Ponder. Unless one of these guys gets to sit, watch, learn and develop for a while, or one of the later round guys develop down the road.. This will be a forgotten class.

I agree with everything you’re saying. Gruden found out that great coaches require some great scouts. It’s hard to coach 16-18 hours a day and still have time to scout. Heck, good scouts are also working 16 hours a day. Great coaches are getting fired way too often because the team didn’t have good scouts.

“This is the best QB class to ever come out”…. The class of 83 would beg to differ.
    Actual stats >a feeling

Thank you for acknowledging me. The fact that you took the time to respond, tells me that I at least have an argument. Time will tell.
